Sometimes, we really do feel that the information provided in surveys like this one may actually save lives down the road, when the information collected gets enacted into actual programs and initiatives that help people. The nature of the privacy considerations for this survey meant that the only identifying information that we at ASR have access to is the six-letter passcode each respondent entered. And we can match those codes back to the phone number each one was sent to.
