In March 2026, Alaska Survey Research surveyed 1,590 Alaskan adults (18+) via text-to-online and panel methodology, with data weighted to reflect Alaska’s population across age, race, gender, education, party affiliation, political ideology, and region. The margin of error is ±2.7% at the 95% confidence level. The results show 87% of Alaskans support criminalizing the use of AI to generate child sexual abuse material, with 83% strongly in support. 57% support an age verification requirement for social media in Alaska.
